Reporting to the Power Manager, the Magnetics Design Engineer (Intern) role involves… What a typical day looks like: • Join regular project meeting, technical discussion and analysis • Develop magnetic component specification, design and simulation • Work with suppliers to achieve trade-off between cost, performance and size • Support component debug, validation, till to production • Release design and test documents The experience we’re looking to add to our team: • Bachelor or Master degree majored in power electronics or electrical engineering • Be aiming for career development in power electronics • Basic knowledge in circuit principle of switching mode power supplies, power conversion of AC/DC, DC/DC or DC/AC etc. • Basic understanding of magnetic component design/test knowledge • Basic experience of magnetic simulation software such as Comsol, Maxwell, etc • Good capability to write technical reports • Alert and open to new product/process innovation/improvement idea • Basic lab instrumentation and safety knowledge
